I am a Therapist. I am also a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and a friend. My experiences and my education helped to shape me into the person I am today. I also love the outdoors and really good movies.
I enjoy working individually with all ages; I am trained in various areas including play therapy techniques, Sand Tray, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR.
I hope that my office is a place of calm for my clients; a place where they can open up and explore who they are and who they want to be.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, I hope to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. Using EMDR and other techniques, I hope to help you process and understand how trauma has affected your life; ultimately moving towards healthier thoughts and feelings.
Often, children and teens experience things at a young age which can create issues with behavior and communication in the home. I hope to help your child find healthy ways to express themselves, while also providing you with parenting support throughout the process.
